PIBNA 42 – Chicago Illinois

Amazing but not surprising, the PBAM will participate with 7 teams in PIBNA 42 (Philippine Intercity Basketball of North America) to be hosted by PAPAA Chicago at the Libertyville Sports Complex, Libertyville Illinois, Sept. 1-2, Labour Day Weekend.

The 7 team entry debunks the ridiculous contention the PBAM is decimated and can’t participate in the Mother of all Filipino Intercity Tournaments, PIBNA.

Don’t count the PBAM out. There are individuals within it’s ranks who have the pride, the stubborn streak, the wherewithal, the mettle to take on the challenge, any challenge to form, prepare teams.

They are the Bustamantes, the Narcisos (Kevin & Jeremy), the Mendiolas, the Lingons, Mel Natividad, Aaron Poonin, Dhaby Mayuga, Satish Ramachandran & Cholo Maguigad. 

They are the unsung parents who went out of their way to secure US visas to have their sons have a whiff of the PIBNA experience.

They are the players who stepped in when others scampered away. They are loyal, it is the right stuff.
