We of the PBAM Management team are ever- proud to announce the opening date of our 2012-2013 basketball season. Date: Saturday, October 27th, 2012
We can only hope you share the same feelings as we do, excited to see one another’s face again for those of you that make this a regular pilgrimage. A new season is upon us – just like the cool breeze, the changing colors of trees brought upon by this fall season. There are many changes this league – new faces, new age categories, new vision, and new missions. Be rest assured…this will be another very exciting season!

Here are the Categories:

The age limit is determined according to the BIRTH DATE.
1- PYBCOMS (Philippine Youth Basketball Conference of Mtl & Suburbs)
a) 8-Log Age 8 and Under
b) ITLOG Age 10 and Under
c) SISIW Age 12 and Under
d) PIPIT Age 14 and Under
e) LAWIN Age 17 and Under

2- PABCOMS (Philippine Adult Basketball Conference of Mtl & Suburbs)
a) OPEN MENS Age 17 Minimum and older
b) U510 18 Minimum and older(Max height at 5’10)
c) SILVER Ages 35 and older
d) GOLDEN 46 yrs old and over
e) Super GOLDEN OVER 55 yrs young (OPTIONAL)
f) OPEN Women 16 yrs old and over, Multi-cultural

As always, the staff of the PBAM are here to get you set up for your team registrations. Spread the word- we are now taking registrations and will be waiting for you with open arms, with that special “WELCOME BACK to the PBAM!.” Please do send in your team line-ups no later than October 20th so that we can fairly and properly set up this season’s game schedules. We are also re-modelling our PBAM website. You can download the TEAM REGISTRY FORM or register on-line! This website will also give you up-to-date game schedules, the PBAM Rules and Regulations, urgent announcements, contact names of the PBAM, and many more! We are currently in the process of developing a STATISTICS section- Top scorers, team rankings, commentaries and editorials, etc. If you know of someone that wants to advertize- this is the place to reach the Filipino community at large! There are many projects and we need more volunteers. Simply contact any of us officers and we would be glad to find a place for you.
