The PBAM Rebound Vol. 9

1 is not enough, 2 is too much, 3… rare and priceless. Beat that!

The impressive run of the PBAM U-11, 3 in a row , is making waves in PIBNA Tournaments. It is showing disinterest in the super-upper Divisions, hope not but why not eh? If you see non stop running little kids, fall down and readily pick themselves up, who cry after a tough loss and twist and shout after a win, then see bulky hulks, lumbering young once who try to run, who groan after a loss and still groan (fatigued) even with a win, which would you watch? No brainer.

PIBNA 40 U11 Finals – Montreal vs Jersey Shore

The conquest : In the 1st round, Montreal’s Pride , took on a vaunted elite Jax team and gave them a spanking, MTL – 34, Jax’ville – 20 . They then took on next Central Jersey and also gave them another spanking, 53-33 .

The U-11 Royals took a bye in the quarter-finals. The rest helped as they went against a more spirited Jax team who played them toe to toe. Bouncing back from a crappy defense they came out strong, fast and furious and sealed the Semis with a close 38-31 decision.

For the Finals and the possible 3-peat, the ROYALS were pitted against Jersey Shore who earlier scored an upset win over pre-tournament favorite PBM – New York. Taking no chances against the upset seeking, the ROYALS showed who is boss with a 42-28 taming of Jersey and the 3-peat .

3 Time PIBNA U11 Champions – Montreal

Louis Brill acknowledged the feat and awarded the MVP to Jayden Bustamante .

In the meanwhile….. another run for the 4th is not a bad idea.
